Who hunted Bonro?
Bonro was hunted by Erdem Bilgin. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hi everyone, Erdem here. Solo founder, building Bonro from Berlin.
I made Bonro because I was tired of the shoebox of receipts every freelancer knows. Existing tools were either full accounting suites that did way too much, or simple scanners that gave me a photo and nothing useful for tax.
So Bonro does one thing well: you snap a receipt, the AI reads the merchant, VAT and category, and you get a file your accountant actually accepts. DATEV for Germany, FEC for France, HMRC SA103F for the UK, and more. No bookkeeping degree needed.
It is built for freelancers and small businesses across the EU and UK, since a lot of us work across borders now. iOS, Android and Web, in 10 languages.
I would love your honest feedback, especially if you are self-employed and deal with receipts and tax yourself. What would make this genuinely useful for you?
Thanks for taking a look.
