Bob the Miner
Help Bob, fuse gems into rarer gems, repeat
BOB NEEDS YOU! Bob the Miner is a free browser match-3 game with a twist: matching gems fuses them into rarer ones - 3 stones become a Ruby, 2 Rubies fuse into an Emerald, all the way to Opals. Features: real fusion (not just points), a mascot who wanders the screen, earthquake power-ups, 1,000+ levels, a wardrobe to unlock for Bob, and a Google leaderboard. No download, no account needed - just open it in your browser.
Hey Product Hunt
I built Bob the Miner solo as a side project - I wanted to see if a simple twist on match-3 (fusion instead of just clearing) could still feel satisfying after the hundredth level. Bob himself started as a small decorative mascot and slowly grew a personality of his own (he now has opinions, an outfit collection, and a favorite pickaxe).
It's still very much a work in progress - I'm actively tuning level difficulty and would genuinely love to know: does the fusion mechanic click for you right away? And if you hit a level that feels way too hard or way too easy, tell me which one.
Thanks for checking it out!
