BlurSmart
Blur sensitive info on screen, permanently, in one click
BlurSmart is a browser extension that hides sensitive information on your screen, permanently, so you never have to edit it out of a recording or worry about it showing up on a call. Click something you want hidden, an API key, an account number, a client's email, a browser tab you forgot to close, and it stays blurred. Built for anyone who screen-records or screen-shares regularly: product demos, tutorials, support calls, client walkthroughs.
Hey Product Hunt,
I built BlurSmart because I kept doing the same annoying thing before every screen recording or client call: manually checking what was visible on my screen and either editing it out afterward or scrambling to hide it live. A missed API key or an open tab with something private in it is a small thing until it isn't.
The idea is simple: blur it once, and it just stays blurred, every time you're on that page, no re-doing it, no editing software after the fact.
This is a genuinely small, focused tool. It doesn't try to do fifteen things. Would love your feedback, especially if you screen-record or screen-share regularly and run into this same problem.
