I’m Bryan, one half of Monarch Labs, a startup I run with my wife, Lauren. I handle the front and back end, and she’s the project manager and UI/UX eye. So basically… I build it, she makes it great 😅
We originally built Bluprnt as a construction cost estimator after seeing family members get taken advantage of by contractors. It felt like homeowners deserved a tool to go into renovations educated and empowered. But after building it, I realized that there are plenty of estimators out there, and we really weren’t offering anything that special.
After some honest feedback from my mother-in-law, we rebuilt Bluprnt into what it should have been all along.
Not just a tool to estimate costs, but a way to track, understand, and benefit from your renovation.
