We started out trying to make AI useful for project management, and kept hitting the same wall. Whatever model we had access to was never the problem, context was. Who's at capacity, what depends on what, what a client was promised on a call three months ago. The AI kept guessing because it couldn't see the work. Although sometimes the answers would make us laugh, the reality is it was a waste of time.
While building we kept pulling more work inside: tasks, boards, Gantt charts, documents, team chat, customers and deals. Somewhere along the way it stopped being a project tool and became something closer to the memory of a business.
