I'm Massimo, indie dev from Italy. Blumemo is the result of 6 months of nights and weekends working alone — no investors, no team, no budget.
Why I built it: for years I kept getting hit by automatic renewals I'd forgotten to cancel. In Italy, missing the cancellation window often means paying another year, sending registered mail to specific PEC addresses, or filing complaints. It's a mess.
So I built the app I wished existed:
- 99 Italian providers with PEC and legal addresses, manually verified on INI-PEC and Registro Imprese
- Smart reminders at 60-30-15-7 days before each cancellation deadline, calculated on each provider's specific notice period
- Pre-filled PEC text per Italian Consumer Code art. 65-bis — opens your email app with full request ready
- Local-first: zero accounts, zero cloud, zero tracking. Sensitive data in Keystore/Keychain. Optional Google Drive backup if you want it
Tech stack: React Native + Expo SDK 54, expo-sqlite + Drizzle, expo-secure-store, RevenueCat for IAP, EAS for builds.
Hardest part wasn't code — it was the catalog. Each of the 99 providers required manual verification: ragione sociale, P.IVA, PEC, postal address, notice period. That alone took 2 months.
Honest limits: Italy-only for now. Free tier covers essentials. Pro (€1.99/mo, €14.99/y with ~37% off, or €29.99 lifetime) adds Drive backup, advanced stats, custom providers.
