Hi, fellow hunters and makers 👋
We are relaunching our product on ProductHunt after exactly 10 years!
You read that correctly; Blogin was originally featured on PH in 2014!
We have worked hard for the past decade and have made countless improvements to our platform. We diligently collected user feedback and used it as a roadmap and guidance for product development.
The product is 10x better than it used to be, and we want you to try it out (there is a free 14-day trial).
Here are some of the (major) improvements we introduced:
- Post, Page, and Category visibility - allows you to publish content that is visible only to a certain group of users
- Full REST API - allows you to connect Blogn to any external third-party service or any custom internal service
- Integrations with Slack, Google Hangouts, and Microsoft Teams (beta) - out-of-the-box integrations with popular communication platforms
- Posts and comments approval - allows you to require each post or comment to be approved by an Administrator before being published on the blog
- Scheduled posts - allows you to schedule posts to be published at a certain time in the future
- Single Sign-On (SSO) and User Provisioning (SCIM) - allows you to use external third-party identity providers (e.g. Google or Okta) to control who can access the blog
- Subcategories - allows for the creation of subcategories to existing categories
- Brand new blog theme (Silver) - a brand new, clean, and modern blog theme (and more themes to come!).
- Auto fetch external links and videos in posts - automatically fetch external links pasted in the post body and embed the content
Tags for posts - use tags, in addition to categories, to better describe and categorize your posts and make it easier for people to find content.
- Markdown support - use Markdown mode in the editor to create posts
- Revision history - you can see the modifications and can revert to a previous version of the post
- Custom message invitations - allows you to include a custom message when inviting someone to the blog
- Multiple authors for posts - allow several users to be authors of the same post
- Company logo customization - customize the visual identity by incorporating your company logo at the top of every page
- Wiki posts - posts that can be edited by all users with a Writer role
- Usage stats - Main usage stats available to Administrators of the blog
- Speed and Security improvements - we introduced many speed improvements and worked with white hat hackers and independent security researchers to strengthen the security of our platform
- + many, many more
