I was building a blackjack card-counting solver when I realized something:
Most counting systems — Hi-Lo, KO, Hi-Opt II, Wong Halves — are practical shortcuts. They were designed so humans could estimate the value of a shoe at a live table using simple mental arithmetic.
That makes sense at a real table.
But on a computer, we do not need to approximate the shoe with a single count.
So I built Blackjack Counting Calculator.
Instead of converting the shoe into a running count, it calculates EV directly from the actual remaining card composition. Enter the cards that have been seen, your hand, and the dealer’s upcard, and it returns the EV for:
Stand / Hit / Double / Split / Surrender
It supports rule variations like S17, H17, DAS, surrender, dealer peek, and more.
