Hey PH Community 👋 I learned a lot from Bizway's launch at the beginning of this year. My number one takeaway being: Everyone wants a little guidance when they're starting something new. And rightly so. They want to know that they're taking the right steps. Or at least moving in the right direction. They'd like to know that if they put in the work, and complete steps 1, 2, 3, to 50, they'll be rewarded. When you're starting a business, especially if it's your first time, there are no guarantees. You can binge-watch My First Million, read Zero To One, go down many insightful rabbit holes on how to plan, build and launch a business. But the truth is: Every business is different. The consequence being that every business needs personalized advice & guidance. What worked for Airbnb may not apply to your retro 90s clothing ecommerce store idea. And while now would be a good moment to shout 'You need a business mentor!', 99% of individuals who are at the stage of mulling over a new business idea are not going to pay for a mentor or consultant to help them think through the earliest stages of their idea. The majority of early users for Bizway were individuals in the earliest planning stages of a new business. I was offering 'a team of custom AI Assistants', but what they really wanted (and needed) was some structure and personalized guidance to help bring their business idea to life. So, that's what I've focused on building for the last 3-4 months. Now, Bizway's killer feature is a personalized, 50-step business roadmap for every business idea. Every step in the roadmap offers a 'Shortcut' to help you make progress on that task. So, if the next step is 'Research your top 10 competitors', you can use a Shortcut, and Bizway will generate a new Doc for you that summarizes your top 10 competitors (based on everything it already knows about your business idea). As you work your way through your Roadmap, using Shortcuts and generating Docs, you can save these Docs to your knowledge hub--and this is what gives Bizway the context it needs to be able to update your Roadmap with the most relevant recommendations. Say you've settled on 'LinkedIn, Twitter, and SEO' as your primary marketing channels. Save that to your knowledge hub, refresh your Roadmap, and Bizway will only recommend marketing steps related to those channels going forward. My primary goal with Bizway is to encourage people to start and stick with their business ideas by taking small, actionable steps every day. And since introducing this Roadmap update, I'm seeing a significant increase in user activity and engagement--people taking small steps, daily, toward bringing their business idea to life. I'm very excited to share it with you all, today. If you're starting a business, building a product, launching a channel; I applaud you. Keep up the great work, and keep up the momentum. And if you do have a chance to check out Bizway, I'd love to hear your feedback. Best, Gerrard Founder @bizway.io
