I've spent years watching a frustrating gap: businesses pour effort into their websites and ads, but the moment a real customer has a question, they get a chatbot or a ticket that gets answered hours later. Support should be a conversation — not a queue that makes people wait or leave. The idea for Bitenta came from that gap. I wanted to make "face-to-face support" as easy to add as a chat widget. Video sounded impossible for most teams — complex WebRTC plumbing, device permissions, queue management, a mobile app, and compliance on top. So I built it myself. What started as a tiny embed grew into a full platform: WebRTC peer-to-peer video with low latency, a smart queue, screen sharing, in-call chat and file transfer, post-call surveys, and native iOS/Android apps with CallKit and push notifications so agents never miss a call. The part I'm proudest of is the simplicity — it's one line of code on your site, no app install for your visitors. I also cared a lot about privacy. Bitenta handles data with KVKK compliance in mind, with clear consent and retention controls — because "live video" and "privacy" shouldn't be a tradeoff. I'd love your feedback: what's the one thing that would make you add live video support to your site?
