I spent years on the services side watching teams try to quote real engagements with tools built for simple product SKUs. Pricing a deal with phases, staffing, and a statement of work usually meant dropping out to spreadsheets — and then re-keying all of it to send a proposal. Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) software was supposed to solve this, but most of it is heavy, slow, and assumes you have an admin on staff to run it.
So I built the CPQ I actually wanted: fast, fairly priced, and able to quote products and services in the same place.
A few things I'm proud of:
--You can describe a deal in plain language and it drafts the quote for you to refine.
--Proposals go out as a branded "Deal Room" — a shareable page with a deal timeline, buyer Q&A, and built-in e-signature, so a buyer can review, ask questions, and sign in one place.
--It stands alone as a CRM as well so it covers the whole path: approvals, renewals, branded PDFs, and invoicing, without needing a costly CRM PLUS a CPQ tool.
It's $50/user per month with a 30-day free trial, and most teams are live within a week.
