I am thrilled to introduce Bilgo, an interactive real-time trivia and competitive quiz platform built by our team at PixelGroup.
Why did we build Bilgo?
Traditional quiz systems often feel either too rigid for casual games or too slow for real-time classroom and group competitions. We wanted an ultra-fast, visually playful platform where anyone can spin up a live game and have friends or students jump in instantly with just a 4-digit PIN or a quick phone camera QR scan.
Key Highlights of Bilgo:
1. Low-Latency Multiplayer: Host public or private game rooms with customized timer, question sources, and player limits.
2. Cross-Platform Real-Time Sync: Play seamlessly across web browsers and our native Android APK with bidirectional Firestore synchronization.
3. Habit-Building Daily Streaks: Daily streak protection, weekly XP boards, and an all-time hall of fame.
4. Custom Question Packs: Teachers and community leaders can author their own question packs for quizzes and exam prep.
5. In-Game Rewards: Gamified avatar frames, titles, and coin rewards for top placements.
What is next?
Our Android client is currently going through the final review stages on Google Play. We are also building tournament brackets and multi-language question expansion.
