Howdy everyone, I’m Emi, founder of Big Moments. Big Moments started with one observation: the internet monetizes the search, then mostly abandons you. There’s a billion-dollar industry for finding a partner and almost nothing for the harder, longer project of keeping the person you found. People aren’t out of love. They’re out of logistics. They care about their relationships; they just need help turning that care into action. Big Moments turns a short questionnaire about your relationship into a ready-to-use plan for a date night, birthday, anniversary, or proposal—including specific venues, timing, what to say, memory-making moments, and a backup if something goes sideways. Every plan is reviewed by a real person. Between those occasions, couples can stay connected through: • A daily question • 12 two-player games, including turn-based games for couples apart • A shared photo library • Real events happening nearby The plans handle the occasion. The rest helps couples stay close during the ordinary week. Some context this community might appreciate: I’m a solo, non-technical founder with no cofounder or outside funding. I built Big Moments with Claude Code as my production partner—about 55,000 lines of Next.js covering planning flows, Stripe, member and admin portals, plus apps on iOS and Android. Then I tested it with real couples, and their feedback made the plans much sharper. What I’d especially love your feedback on: does “life after the match” communicate the idea clearly, or would you understand the product faster if we simply called it a personalized date planner? Big Moments is free to explore no credit card required. Founding-member rates are locked for life for everyone who joins during the launch. Effort is romantic.
