Founder/builder here. Been in tech for 25 years! I spent weeks researching invoicing apps for tradespeople and saw the same pattern over and over. Most invoice apps are bloated, expensive and look like boring accounting tools. I grew up around tradespeople, my father was a general contractor. Apps for trades need to be easy to use, fast and fair. Tradespeople don't have time to sift through some app's complicated settings and subscription plans. I made Big Invoice to be super simple and well designed so it's easy to see on the job site. And as far as pricing goes my motto is "Big features, tiny price". And it's not just for tradespeople.
