The other is my sister Oyin — a BACP-registered therapist who's spent over a decade working with families and children, in private practice and across UK schools. We believe many of society's most troubling problems—violence, crime, addiction and more—trace back to homes. To people who were never given important emotional tools their parents didn't have either. You can't legislate your way out of that. But you might be able to teach your way out of it. Ẹbí is a platform with online parenting courses (designed and delivered by qualified therapists), an online community of other parents, and tools to help you raise emotionally healthy children. Becoming a parent is the biggest emotional transition most people go through, and it's the one we prepare for least. We'll do antenatal classes about breathing and car seats, then get absolutely nothing on how to handle our own inherited patterns showing up when our child has a personality we didn't expect.
