I built BewerbungGPT because of my brother.
He was making a career pivot, and when we started working on his applications, I realized how unnecessarily painful the whole process was. We spent hours adjusting his CV in Canva, then created every single cover letter manually in Word, adapting it again and again for each job. It took forever, it was repetitive, and got really frustrating.
That’s when the idea for BewerbungGPT came up: upload your CV, add the job link, and get a tailored cover letter based on both without spending hours rewriting everything manually.
Right now, BewerbungGPT is only available in German because it’s specifically built for the German job market, but I’m planning to expand it to other languages in the future.
Would love to hear your feedback, especially from people who are currently applying for jobs or have gone through a career change themselves.

Ich habe BewerbungGPT ursprünglich wegen meinem Bruder gebaut.
Er hat einen Quereinstieg gemacht, und als wir seine Bewerbungen vorbereitet haben, ist mir erst aufgefallen, wie unnötig aufwendig der ganze Prozess ist. Wir haben seinen Lebenslauf stundenlang in Canva angepasst und danach jedes einzelne Anschreiben manuell in Word erstellt und immer wieder auf die jeweilige Stelle zugeschnitten. Das hat ewig gedauert, war extrem repetitiv und einfach nur nervig.
So entstand die Idee für BewerbungGPT: Lebenslauf hochladen, Stellenanzeige hinzufügen und daraus ein individuelles Anschreiben erstellen lassen, das wirklich zu beidem passt.
Aktuell ist BewerbungGPT nur auf Deutsch verfügbar und speziell auf den deutschen Bewerbungsmarkt ausgerichtet. In Zukunft möchte ich das Tool aber auch auf weitere Sprachen ausweiten.
Ich freue mich sehr über Feedback – besonders von Leuten, die gerade selbst Bewerbungen schreiben oder schon einmal einen Quereinstieg gemacht haben.
