I built this because I was genuinely frustrated with existing JSON tools. Most online viewers either crash on large payloads, can't handle slightly malformed JSON, or make you manually dig through raw text to find what you need.
The thing that pushed me to build my own was workflow integration. I wanted to link directly to the formatter from internal tools with the JSON pre-loaded via URL params, so I could save the copy-paste back and forth every time I needed to inspect something.
From there I kept adding the things I was missing: search that actually filters the tree as you type, clicking any nested object and copying just that part, auto-fixing broken JSON instead of throwing an error, and a clean tree view that doesn't get in the way.
