Hi Product Hunt, I built Berly because AI compliance is quickly becoming a documentation problem. For consultants and small teams, the work can get scattered across checklists, Word docs, spreadsheets, screenshots, PDFs, review notes, and framework references. You can piece it together manually, but it is easy to lose the structure behind the record. Berly is a Windows desktop app that gives that work a clearer path: 1. Classify the AI system 2. Complete guided system records 3. Use field-level guidance and AI-assisted drafting 4. Attach evidence to claims 5. Keep audit history 6. Export a review-ready PDF package The build started with the classifier, but the more I worked on it, the more obvious it became that classification alone was not enough. The harder problem is connecting the full workflow: classification → documentation → evidence → review → export. That is what Berly is built around now. It currently supports EU AI Act, Colorado SB 24-205, Illinois AI employment laws, NYC Local Law 144, and CPRA ADMT, with NIST AI RMF and ISO 42001 mapping support. Berly is local-first, has no cloud backend, and has no subscription. It is not legal advice and does not certify compliance. The goal is to help people prepare clearer AI documentation packages for human review. I would really appreciate feedback on: * whether the workflow is clear * whether the positioning makes sense for consultants and small teams * what you would need to see before trusting a desktop tool for this kind of work Thanks for taking a look.
