Berea

Sermon Notes & Prayer App

Live transcription, summaries, study tools, and dedicated prayer sessions for your faith journey.

Top comment

I built Berea because I kept losing what I heard in sermons. By Monday, the message was gone. The scriptures my pastor referenced, the one phrase that landed, the prayer I meant to pray. I tried notebooks (missed too much while writing), Apple Notes (too generic), voice memos (never went back). The name comes from Acts 17:11 — the Bereans who didn't just hear Paul's sermon but went home and searched the scriptures themselves. That active, engaged posture is what I wanted to encourage. If you're a Christian who attends church regularly and ever walks out feeling like you left something behind — this is for you. Happy to answer any questions. Would love to know what features would make this more useful for how you engage with preaching.

Who hunted Berea?

Berea was hunted by Davis Prickett. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
