I made my own game! BeetleJump! It's taken many, MANY turns along the way... and it quickly dawned on me just how hard it actually is to make games. It wasn't just one prompt and then it all worked. It's probably been several hundred. There are so many things to consider. Concept and graphics. Camera angles in 3D. Whether it's even easy to play. Sounds. How to keep people from closing the game after two seconds. Etc. etc. After a series of prototypes, I landed on something I personally thought turned out decently entertaining. The game is called "BeetleJump". You're a little beetle that has to climb up a beanstalk and become king… or god (spoiler alert). Yes, it sounds silly, but here we are. Inspired by the old Counter-Strike map kz_giantbean (if you know, you know) and with a bit of inspiration from Doodle Jump. Try the game and feel free to tell me what you think: https://beetlejump.com Free, no login, multiplayer, works on mobile.
