Hey Product Hunt, I’m Paol, the founder of Becom. Thanks for checking it out. Becom started with a problem I kept failing to solve: I would delete Instagram, feel great for a few days, then reinstall it. Traditional app blockers helped for a moment, but they only said no. Habit trackers gave me another checkbox. Neither changed what happened in the exact moment I reached for my phone without thinking. So I built Becom around that moment. You choose the apps that pull you in. When the shield blocks one, Becom interrupts the reflex and gives you a reason to pause. From there, you can open a knowledge bubble: a short learning experience designed to unfold over several sessions and several days. Instead of trying to force a 30-minute study habit into your day, the app uses a behaviour that already exists — the urge to scroll — as a cue to learn something small and meaningful. The product is not trying to shame people for using their phone. Phones are useful. The goal is simply to make the automatic moments more intentional. Becom also includes multi-day Reboots, a daily Focus Score, and a long-term Becom Score. Becom+ adds adaptive blocking, an AI coach, advanced insights, and the ability to turn your own course PDFs into knowledge bubbles. This is the first public version, and I am launching it early on purpose. I would rather build with real people than spend another six months guessing in private. I will personally read every piece of feedback and use it to decide what comes next. I would genuinely love your thoughts on two things: 1. Have you tried app blockers before? What made you stop using them, or what made them stick? 2. Does the idea of learning in the moment you want to scroll feel useful, or like too much friction? Thank you for being here. — Paol
