Beaconn started because I could not answer a simple question about my own company: when someone asks ChatGPT which tool they should use in our category, does our name come up?
It turns out there is a whole job hiding behind that question. An AI assistant does not rank ten links, it writes one paragraph and names three or four brands. You are either in that sentence or you are not in the conversation. And what decides it is not your homepage. It is what other people have published about you, because that is what the assistant can actually cite.
So Beaconn takes the real questions your buyers ask, runs them across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, reads every answer rather than counting mentions, and shows you which brands got named instead of you and what they were named from. Then it turns each gap into a specific piece of work: publish this comparison, get listed in these round ups, earn this review.
One thing I want to be upfront about. We ran Beaconn on Beaconn and scored zero out of ten. No published research, no third party writing about us, nothing for an assistant to name us from. It is the correct answer and we publish it every month, including the months it does not move. Every tool in this category will show you a dashboard of numbers about you.
