The problem is, recruiters don't wake up thinking, "I can't wait to organise more candidates today." They wake up needing to fill roles with the right people—fast.
That was the question that started BATS.
What if recruitment software didn't wait for you to search, filter, shortlist and schedule? What if you simply opened a role and the platform did the recruiting for you?
Building BATS forced us to rethink almost every assumption behind the traditional ATS. Instead of creating another system to store candidates, we focused on creating one that understands hiring intent, identifies interview-worthy candidates, ranks them by fit, and gets them ready for interview in moments.
The goal was never to build a "better ATS."
It was to build something that makes the ATS concept feel outdated.
