👋 Hi Product Hunt! If you've ever received an e-invoice, double-clicked the file expecting to see an invoice, and got a wall of XML instead — this is for you. From 2025, businesses across the EU have to be able to receive structured e-invoices: XRechnung in Germany, Factur-X in France, Peppol/UBL in the Netherlands and Belgium. The catch is that these formats — raw XML, or XML hidden inside a PDF — aren't human-readable. So overnight, accountants, freelancers, and finance teams started getting files they simply can't open. The existing options weren't great: either upload your invoice — bank details, customer data, totals and all — to some random web tool, or install heavy accounting software just to read a single file. So we built BaseInvoice. Drop any EU e-invoice into your browser and it renders as a clean, readable invoice in seconds. The important part: nothing is uploaded. Every file is processed locally in your browser — no account, and your financial data never leaves your machine. Reading is free.
