Barreleyes

AI-powered moving inventory management

AI-Powered Moving Inventory System - Upload media, enter move details, and export your complete inventory

Top comment

Hi everyone! I built Barreleyes to fix a specific pain point in the moving industry: inventory lists for a move are usually a mess of paper sheets or scattered photos, and nobody trusts the estimate until the truck shows up. Barreleyes uses computer vision to scan a room (photo or video), automatically identify furniture and boxes, and build a structured, editable inventory with volume estimates in real time. Movers and renters get an accurate cubic-footage count in minutes instead of hours of manual walkthroughs. It's currently in closed testing on Android, and I'd love feedback from anyone who deals with moves, logistics, or storage, or just wants to poke at the computer vision side of it. Happy to answer any questions here!

Who hunted Barreleyes?

Barreleyes was hunted by Tam Huynh. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
