Barcly
Scan barcodes for instant info
Scan any barcode and instantly see what is inside. Barcly is a fast, private scanner for food, pet food, beauty products, books, and music. Get clear details, Nutri-Score, ingredient summaries, and allergen warnings with no ads or accounts. On-device AI offers personalized insights, product comparisons, and cart overviews. Save best-before dates and track your shopping trip in real time. Your data stays on your iPhone.
I'm the solo developer behind Barcly. I built it because reading ingredient labels in the supermarket is slow, the print is tiny, and if you have an allergy or follow a diet, one missed word matters.
How it works: scan a barcode and Barcly checks the product against your profile. You write your own allergies, diet and goals, and the app flags what matters to you.
What you get:
• Allergen detection, even on labels in other languages
• Personal Insights and plain-language ingredient explanations
• Nutri-Score, side-by-side product comparison and expiry tracking
• Works offline and syncs across your devices with iCloud
• No account needed. Your profile stays yours.
I'd love your feedback. What's the one thing you always check on a label before buying? That answer will shape the next update.
Thanks for stopping by!
