Bapum
Tactile-only stress relief. No screen. No noise. Just calm.
The Bapum method supports the regulation of your nervous system and your emotions through a gentle physical heartbeat. The heartbeat is felt on the skin, so it needs no screen, no sound and no attention. While most apps tax your attention and mind, Bapum communicates directly with your body. You don't need to learn new techniques or actively concentrate, just feeling the rhythm is enough. No ads, no registration, no personal data collected. The Bapum method stays free, always.
Hi Product Hunt,
I'm Bence, a designer and indie developer, and I'm building Bapum on my own.
In November 2022 I was diagnosed with incurable cancer and an autoimmune disease, which started me on a journey marked by struggles, hopelessness and miracles. I explored many physical and mindfulness therapy methods to alleviate my anxiety, my scattered mind and my restless nights, but despite my loving family, supportive friends and professional experts I often felt lonely and helpless.
From this experience the idea came: if I survive all this, I want to build something that provides support even when I am unable to take action myself. This is how Bapum was born.
Today is World Mental Health Day, and this year's theme is "Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change." Bapum is my lived experience, turned into a tool.
Bapum is built on the principle of tactile entrainment, backed by peer-reviewed research, and I'm running a study together with the Budapest University of Technology.
The Bapum method stays free, always. No ads, no registration, no personal data collected. New users get 15 days of Bapum+ automatically, and as a World Mental Health Day gift for the Product Hunt community, you get 50% off your first year with code PH50OFF.
Redeem it with one tap: https://apps.apple.com/redeem?ct...
Or in the app: Menu » Bapum+ » scroll down » Redeem.
Try it for a minute: hold your iPhone, close your eyes and feel the heartbeat.
When would you reach for it?
With gratitude,
Bence

Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
