When my child was born, I did what most parents do—I downloaded every baby tracking app I could find. At first, they were helpful. I could log feedings, naps, diaper changes, and all the little details that seem so important in those early months. But a few months later, a different question started keeping me awake: "Is my child developing the way they should?" None of the apps could answer that. They tracked what my baby was doing every day, but not whether those daily moments were adding up to healthy development. "Is it normal that my child isn't saying words yet?" Every search led to a different article, a different opinion, and usually either unnecessary panic or false reassurance. It was exhausting. That's when the idea for BabyGrow was born. I didn't want another baby tracker. I wanted one place where parents could see the bigger picture of their child's development—something grounded in real developmental science, but simple enough to use every day. I started with milestone tracking. It was useful, but I quickly realized a checklist alone wasn't enough. Knowing a skill was delayed didn't tell parents what to do next. So I added activity suggestions linked to each milestone. Now parents could not only see where their child was but also discover simple, age-appropriate ways to support development through play and everyday interactions. Then I noticed something else. Parenting isn't just about tracking progress. It's about preserving moments. That's why I added journals, photo memories, and milestone highlights. Because a child's first step is more than a developmental milestone—it's a memory you'll want to revisit years later. The growth charts came later and unexpectedly became one of the most-loved features. Parents told me they appreciated being able to see growth trends between doctor visits instead of waiting months for reassurance. But the feature that surprised me most was the "Emerging" milestone status. Most apps force parents into a simple yes-or-no choice. Achieved or not achieved. Real development doesn't work that way. Children grow gradually. Skills appear little by little before they're fully mastered. By recognizing that in-between stage, parents felt less anxious and more encouraged. BabyGrow isn't just a collection of features. It's the app I wish I had when I was constantly wondering if my child was okay. It's the tool I needed during those late-night Google searches.
