Hi PH! I built bab to introduce people to Arab culture and dialects in a way that actually feels alive. Every day there's one door and one guard, and you get a limited number of messages to talk, charm, or bluff your way in. But each guard is a real slice of the culture: a wedding uncle, an ahwa (coffeehouse) owner, a stadium steward, a djinn at the gate. Each has their own mood, manners, humor, and dialect, so getting past them means actually reading the person and finding the right words, the way you would in real life. It's the same guard for the whole world that day, so you can compare how you did with everyone else. Fully playable in both Arabic and English, free, and runs in any browser. My hope is that people walk away having had fun and picked up a bit of the language, the dialects, and the culture along the way. Would love your feedback on which guards are too easy or too brutal.
