I'm Ansab, founder of Axonic. We built Cortex because I got tired of watching brilliant AI systems fail at the one thing that matters: telling the truth.
Every LLM hallucinates. That's not a bug - it's the architecture. The real failure isn't the hallucination. It's that nothing catches it before the hallucination becomes a decision. A contract. A diagnosis. A trade. A robot's action in the physical world.
Cortex is the layer that sits between AI and action. We verify every claim against live sources, check it against hard logic, and return a verdict with citations and a confidence score — not a confident guess. We built it because the embodied AGI era demands verification as infrastructure, not a feature.
