Axisize
turn any font into a variable font
Drop a static TTF or OTF and get a variable font with weight, width, slant and optical size axes. Free, runs entirely in your browser — your fonts are never uploaded.
I made a small but really handy tool for anyone who works with fonts but isn’t a type designer.
Free open-source fonts often come in just one or two weights, say, regular and bold. But what if you need a medium? Or a wider version? Or a slanted one?
That’s what Axisize is for. It generates the missing variations and turns any static font into a variable one.

Who hunted Axisize?
Axisize was hunted by Ed Tsarionov. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
