Axera

GitHub meets X, built for developers who ship

I got tired of bouncing between GitHub, LinkedIn, and LeetCode every day just to do dev work. So I built Axera. It's one feed where you ship code, post with live code blocks, solve coding challenges that actually run, climb weekly leaderboards, DM other devs, and join topic communities. Everything syncs with GitHub. You earn XP and DevEchelon ranks for every contribution. Made it for devs who ship, not just talk about it.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 I'm Jonathan, the founder of Axera. I built this because I was burned out from juggling tools. My typical dev day looked like write code in my IDE, push to GitHub, post about it on LinkedIn, practice on LeetCode, then back to the IDE. several tabs. several contexts. None of them really designed for devs first. That's the problem I wanted to solve. LinkedIn is for everyone. LeetCode feels like homework. GitHub is mostly quiet unless someone opens an issue. So devs end up with no real home, just scattered across many tabs. Axera started as a simple feed where I could post with my followers. Then I added challenges because I wanted to keep my skills sharp. Leaderboards because friends wanted to compete. DMs and communities because the feed alone wasn't enough. Every feature came from something I was already doing somewhere else and wished I could do in one place. What's in it today: • A social feed with native code blocks(within community) • Coding challenges with live test runs and XP rewards • leaderboards and DevEchelon ranks • Live DMs and topic communities • GitHub sync for repos and contributions • Achievements and a NextCoin economy I'd love your honest feedback. A few things I'm especially curious about: 1. What feature surprised you the most? 2. What would make you actually use this daily? 3. What's missing from how devs connect today? Thanks for taking a look 🙏 If you're a dev who ships, this was built for us.

Who hunted Axera?

Axera was hunted by Jonathan Streetman. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
