Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built Axendra because I became increasingly convinced that some of the most expensive mistakes we make in life are cognitive mistakes. Not because we didn't work hard enough. But because at the moment a major decision arrived, we were reasoning with an incomplete map of the world. I've made plenty of those mistakes myself. I chose a college major without understanding enough about careers and industries. I've made important relationship decisions using criteria that, in retrospect, weren't nearly rational enough. None of those mistakes came from a lack of effort. I simply didn't know what I didn't know. That eventually led me to a question: What if the best ideas we encounter throughout life didn't disappear into books, notes, podcasts, screenshots, and forgotten highlights—but accumulated into a personal map we could actually consult when a decision matters? That’s what Axendra is trying to build. ChatGPT can give you an answer on demand. Axendra is designed to help you accumulate the ideas, experiences and private knowledge that shape how you judge for yourself. I want to help reduce the information and cognitive advantages that often come from being born into the right family, school, city, or social circle. Great mental models shouldn’t belong only to people who happened to encounter them early. And the most valuable knowledge in your life shouldn’t disappear just because it never entered a public AI training corpus.
