Awhile is a focused mobile browser for Instagram. It loads the real instagram.com, then hides the parts that usually cause doomscrolling: Feed, Reels, Explore, Stories and open-in-app prompts. DMs, search, profiles and intentional browsing stay usable.
The idea is not another all-or-nothing blocker. It is a calmer way to use Instagram when you need messages, creators, research or people you follow, without handing the rest of your day to the algorithm.
Free includes the core filters, grayscale mode, scroll pulse reminders, one account, daily stats and PIN locks. Premium is a one-time purchase for Messages Only, Following Only, session timers, deeper stats and more accounts. No subscription.
Awhile is built by ARCKONE with Alec Kouloujian from ARK MEDIA helping on social strategy, short-form content and launch messaging. It is independent, built in Europe, and does not use Instagram APIs, scraping or automation.
