Who hunted Autonix Cards?
Autonix Cards was hunted by Scott Teger. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hi Product Hunt, I'm Scott. I built Autonix on my own.
Autonix started as tracked QR codes for teams that need to know where and when a code was scanned. It already had vCard and ConnectCard trackers for conference and sales teams, so I turned business cards into their own product: Autonix Cards.
How it works:
• You get one QR code and link for your card.
• Someone scans it and saves your contact in one tap. No app on either side.
• You both get an intro email, so the conversation does not stop at "saved to contacts".
• The connection lands in your list with name, email, phone and notes. Export to CSV whenever you like.
• Change your title, photo or links later. The printed code keeps working.
Pricing is public: Free for 3 cards (you see your 5 most recent connections), Cards Starter at $9/mo or $79/yr for 10 cards and the full list, Cards Beyond at $49/mo for 50 cards. For a whole team, Cards Org gives everyone their own card and login at $4 per person per month.
I would love blunt feedback, especially on the save-contact step on your phone and on the intro email. What would make you switch from paper cards, or from the card app you use now?
