Hey Product Hunt! I'm Phil, the maker of AutoChart.eu. YARG and Clone Hero are great free games in the style of Rock Band and Guitar Hero, but they only play songs someone has charted by hand. Charting one song for the full band takes a skilled person many hours, so most of the music people love never gets a chart, especially for drums and vocals. I played RockBand as a teenager and still host YARG parties with friends. I also was in a band with some school friends and we have recorded some songs. I always wanted to have our own songs playable for our rythm game sessions. So I built AutoChart. You upload an audio file, and 5–30 minutes later you get a folder you drop into your songs library: 🥁 Drums with pro cymbals/toms and 2x kick, plus guitar and bass, each on Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert 🎤 Vocals with lyrics timed word by word (English and most Latin-alphabet languages, plus Japanese, Korean and Chinese) 🎚️ A separate audio track per instrument, so when you miss, your part really drops out ⭐ Overdrive, solos, drum fills and sections, so it plays like a real Rock Band song I think it works astonishingly well for most songs. But I am still honest about the limits: it works best on rock, pop and metal where the instruments are clearly audible. Electronic or orchestral music gives weaker charts, and an automatic chart won't always match a great hand-made one. That's why every finished song has a "Rate this chart" button, and I read every rating. Your first song is free with no card. After that, credits start at €1 per song, with no subscription and no expiry. If a conversion fails, you get your credit back automatically. I'd love to hear which song you try first and how it plays. Ask me anything about the model, the pipeline or the games! 🤘
