AutoCalcs
3D Structural Analysis and Steel Design in Your Browser
Unlike traditional structural software that requires installation and licence management, AutoCalcs runs directly in the browser and can be tried without an account. It combines interactive 3D beam, frame, truss, and plate modelling with linear, P-Delta, buckling, and modal analysis, visual results, and hot-rolled steel design checks. Cloud saving, share links, model validation, and PDF/Excel reporting keep the workflow in one place.
Hi everyone, I built AutoCalcs because structural analysis software often feels harder to access than it should be. Many tools require large downloads, expensive licences, and a lot of setup before you can begin modelling. I wanted to explore whether a capable structural analysis workflow could feel as simple as opening a website.
That idea grew into a browser-based 3D workspace for modelling beams, frames, trusses, and plates, running several types of analysis, reviewing visual results, and checking steel members. A lot of the work has gone into making the modelling process feel direct while keeping the calculations and results easy to inspect.
AutoCalcs is still evolving, and I’d genuinely love to hear what you find useful, what feels confusing, and what you would like to see next. Thanks for taking a look!

Who hunted AutoCalcs?
AutoCalcs was hunted by AutoCalcs. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it.
