Who hunted AuraDog?
AuraDog was hunted by Aunicall. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community. Hi, I’m the developer of AuraDog.
It’s an iPhone journal for keeping dog-care notes in one place: breathing counts or audio estimates, daily check-ins, and notes from vet visits. The records stay on your phone. There’s no account to set up.
Breathing tracking and check-ins are free. PDF summaries, unlimited vet records and longer-term trends are part of Pro. The app helps you keep observations; it doesn’t diagnose anything.
1.0.3 is now on the App Store, with fixes for iOS 17 and smaller-screen layouts. 1.0.4 is still waiting for Apple’s review.
If you try it, I’d be interested to know whether entering a note feels quick enough for everyday use.
