Hey PH! I'm Naga, a solo developer based in Japan.
I built AURA Poetry because I kept seeing the same 10 cities recommended everywhere — Kyoto, Tokyo, Osaka. Japan has 1,741 municipalities. Most of them have never been written about in English.
So I used Claude API to generate literary prose descriptions for all of them. Not summaries. Not bullet points. Actual writing — in the style of a travel essayist.
Then I added 300+ cultural events: festivals, pottery workshops, fishing village stays, morning markets.
The whole thing runs on a single Heroku dyno. Hotel links are affiliate-supported — that's how the lights stay on.
