I'm Anmol, the founder of Akhouri Systems, and I'm excited to share ATLOCK v4 with you today.
ATLOCK started from a simple question:
Why do I need multiple applications to protect my Windows PC?
I wanted a single, local-first security suite that could help protect sensitive files, securely store passwords, detect unauthorized access attempts, and give users more control over their desktop—all without forcing them to rely on cloud services or subscriptions.
That idea eventually became ATLOCK.
Version 4 is the biggest update so far. It introduces Intruder Ops with webcam photo and video capture, a stronger encryption architecture, a redesigned interface, a new settings panel, better performance, and many usability improvements.
Building this project has been an incredible learning experience. Every release, bug report, and piece of feedback has helped shape the product into what it is today.
