ATLAS Music Library
Visual Hi-Res music library and DLNA player for a NAS
ATLAS scans a local or NAS-hosted music library and builds a visual browser: artist photos, bios and discography, plus album art, pulled automatically from MusicBrainz, Wikipedia, Fanart.tv and Cover Art Archive. It casts to any DLNA/UPnP renderer (tested on a Denon AVR-X1500H and a WiiM), handles Hi-Res and DSD with automatic PCM transcoding when a device can't play raw, and has one-click backup/restore for the library catalog itself.
Top comment
Hey PH! I have a large FLAC/DSD library on a NAS, and every UPnP browser I tried felt clunky, so I built ATLAS for myself first. The trickiest part was DLNA/UPnP compatibility: different renderers handle Hi-Res/DSD very differently, so ATLAS checks what a device actually supports and transcodes only when it has to. Would love feedback from anyone else running a NAS-hosted collection into a receiver or streamer.
