I'm Atlas, creator of Atlas Linux Healthcheck.
As a DevOps engineer managing production environments, I frequently needed a fast, zero-dependency way to run a first-level diagnostic on Linux servers and complex Docker setups—especially during emergency response or routine maintenance.
Existing monitoring tools are great for long-term metrics, but sometimes you just need an immediate snapshot of CPU load, swap pressure, Docker container health, and SSH/firewall security without installing heavy agents.
That’s why we built this lightweight bash script.
It generates a clear, actionable summary and health score in under 30 seconds.
It’s completely open-source and free to use. I’d love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or features you’d like to see added!
