ASTIS Mail
Encrypt Gmail/M365 mail, calendar & attachments
ASTIS Mail adds client-side end-to-end encryption to Gmail and Microsoft 365 mail, calendars, and attachments—without migration. Business data is encrypted and decrypted on the user’s device; providers route and store ciphertext, while ASTIS servers never receive business data. Automatic key discovery, encrypted calendar invites, B2B organization controls, expiring key capsules, and HYOK make it practical for real teams.

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Ievgen, founder of ASTIS. Encrypted business communication still has an adoption problem: most products ask teams to move to a new mailbox, provider, or workflow. In practice, people stay on Gmail or Microsoft 365 and continue sharing sensitive content as ordinary mail and calendar data. ASTIS Mail takes a different path. It adds client-side end-to-end encryption to the Gmail and Microsoft 365 mail, calendar, and attachments you already use — without migration. Mail, attachments, and private event details are encrypted on the user’s device before they are written. Gmail or Microsoft 365 continues to route, schedule, and store records, but business data is stored as ciphertext. ASTIS servers never receive business data. The calendar remains usable: events appear at the right time and invitations are delivered, while private details and RSVP data remain encrypted on provider servers and are decrypted only on the user’s device. There is no manual PGP workflow. Keys are discovered automatically. If a recipient does not have a key yet, the message remains sealed and is rewrapped to the recipient’s key after registration. For organizations, ASTIS supports B2B organization-key flows, remote wipe, organization recovery, expiring and revocable key capsules, and HYOK where organization private keys remain in the organization’s CVS HYOK. An honest boundary: routing metadata such as sender, recipient, and time remains available because email and calendar delivery still need to work. ASTIS Mail is live today as an installable PWA at mail.astis.io. Dedicated desktop and mobile apps are in development. For regulated organizations and OEM partners, ASTIS Mail WL can include the organization’s brand and domain, IMAP/SMTP mail servers, standard SSO/identity-provider integration, and deployment setup. Custom plugins, AI capabilities, integrations, and sector-specific workflows are available depending on the plan. I’d especially value feedback from people who have tried to deploy encrypted email or calendar workflows inside real teams. What prevented adoption?
