The idea is to eliminate the swap culture and the incessantly reduced time and attention on the profile. There's no genuine connection thru the apps which already exist and people who need it, have to gamble on the idea of the other person. Don't get me wrong, the current apps work for those who want to play it fast, which is a lot of people, but there's still a few people who think otherwise My app takes things slow. Like chapter-after-chapter kinda slow. Going thru a profile feels like exploring a new genre, the profile feels like a peek in the life and musings of the person. The text and matching is a custom algorithm-based that makes the discovery feel organic. The marginalia, the archetype, fav lines, etc are a few parameters of the profile. There are interesting ways to start a convo rather than likes and Super-likes.
