Hey Product Hunt — I’m the maker of ASOTool.dev. I’ve been building mobile apps for years, with 10M+ users across my apps, and ASO has consistently been one of the most useful — and frustrating — growth channels. The problem: most ASO tools have become huge, expensive suites, while the basic question I actually care about is pretty simple: What are people searching for, how difficult is it to rank, and which keywords should I target? So I built ASOTool.dev around that workflow. It pulls data from the actual App Store and Google Play results, helps uncover related keywords, measures popularity and competition, tracks your rankings, and helps optimize your metadata against the keywords you’ve chosen. Where data is estimated rather than directly available, the tool explicitly marks it instead of pretending it’s exact. I deliberately kept it focused and affordable instead of trying to build another giant ASO platform. I’d especially love feedback from indie app developers: What’s the one thing you wish ASO tools did better? I’ll be here all day answering questions and taking notes.
