Hi everyone! 👋 We're two university students from Japan studying information engineering and physics engineering. We developed AsaMo, a matrix calculator for Android. Here's a little story about how it all started. Believe it or not, both of us failed our linear algebra courses during our first year at university. 😅 So, naturally, we decided to build a matrix calculator! To be fair, another motivation was the dream of earning some passive income. But considering how much time we've spent developing this app, it's been anything but passive so far. Our goal was to create a matrix calculator that could handle a wide range of operations while remaining easy to use. We also wanted to make it easier to work with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, so we added features for copying matrices and results in AI-friendly and LaTeX formats. Throughout development, we used generative AI tools ourselves, but we quickly learned that building a reliable app still requires plenty of debugging, testing, and problem-solving. AsaMo was released on Google Play in August 2026, and we've been continuously improving it ever since. We're still students, and there's plenty more we'd like to improve. We'd love to hear your feedback, suggestions, or ideas for new features! Thanks for checking out AsaMo! 🚀
