ArxivSwipe
TL;DRs on every arxiv & Hugging Face paper
ArxivSwipe puts a 3-sentence AI TL;DR on every paper in your arxiv and Hugging Face Papers feed, so you can decide what's worth reading in second. Copy BibTeX in one click, jump to code and highlight any term for a plain-language explanation.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I know some researchers who every morning open arxiv or Hugging Face Papers
to ~1,000 new preprints a week. They open 30 tabs, skim abstracts, close 27 of them, etc..
I made a little tool that shows a 3-sentence AI TL;DR right onto every
paper card in your feed. No new app, no silo to copy links into. You skim
the firehose where you already read it.
What's in v1.1:
• 3-sentence TL;DRs on every paper (Claude Opus 4.8)
• One-click BibTeX → straight into Overleaf / Zotero
• Code links — jump to the implementation when there's a repo
• Highlight any term → plain-language explanation
• Translate the TL;DR into your language
• Follow authors & topics, save-for-later queue
• Cross-device sync with a 6-digit code — no email, no password
Two things I care about and won't compromise on:
1. It's free. No Pro tier, no paywall. TL;DRs are cached globally, so the
common case costs nothing.
2. Scoped permissions only — arxiv.org and huggingface.co/papers.
I made pre-caching mostly for ML, AI, Math categories to reduce costs, so less popular categories might be slow, if somebody need it, ready to add it at any moment.
Would love your feedback — especially what would make your work with daily paper easier. I'll be here all day answering everything. 🙏
