Hey Product Hunt! I'm the maker of ArtCanvas.
I built it after a frustrating evening: I just wanted to collage a few shapes and export a transparent PNG, but every tool wanted an install, an account, or a subscription first.
So I built the opposite. **The entire app is a single HTML file** — no install, no signup, no build step. Download it, double-click, and it works, even offline.
What's inside:
- 8 geometric shapes + freeform + brush, with full transform controls
- Cookie-cutter cutting: use any shape as a mold to punch holes through the shapes below — real cutouts, not masks
- Artistic text: 7 fonts × 6 effects (outline, neon, emboss, sticker…), editable in place
- Fills: solid, gradient, your own images, AI-generated patterns
- AI that works offline: demo mode generates patterns locally with zero config; connect any OpenAI-images-compatible API for real models (your key never leaves the browser)
- Transparent background export: PNG/WebP keep the alpha channel, JPEG falls back to white
