Hi everyone!

Coming from years in design and animation, and with 3D printing as a hobby I kept finding existing CAD tools heavier and less intuitive than I wanted for quick parts. So I built ARCAD. Now I can design my 3D models on the fly and without all the bells and whistles.

The goal was something fast to learn that still does real precise modelling, without piling on features beyond that. It's built on Three.js and OpenCASCADE.

It's still early and I'm actively developing it, so feedback is hugely appreciated, especially regarding the modelling workflow. Happy to answer any questions!

Who hunted Arcad?

Arcad was hunted by Kristian Thuesen. A “hunter” on Product Hunt is the community member who submits a product to the platform — uploading the images, the link, and tagging the makers behind it. Hunters typically write the first comment explaining why a product is worth attention, and their followers are notified the moment they post. Around 79% of featured launches on Product Hunt are self-hunted by their makers, but a well-known hunter still acts as a signal of quality to the rest of the community.
