Aptets: outreach for vibe-coded projects
An agent that handles outreach and gets you your first users
Aptets helps solo builders and indie hackers get traffic to their projects by finding prospective users and messaging them for you. Based on your product and target audience we analyze where those communities are online, draft platform-specific outreach, and only send external messages with your approval. In other words, if ChatGPT, Claude, Lovable, or Replit are your AI tools for building, you can think of this as your AI tool for distribution to help validate your product and get users!
Hey Product Hunt, I'm James, one of the founders of Aptets! Nelson and I built Aptets because we kept running into the same problem over and over again: building products is getting easier, but getting people to actually use them is still incredibly hard.
We are both builders. We have shipped projects before, and with AI tools getting better, we are now able to move from idea to working product faster than ever. But every time we got something built, we hit the same wall: now what? Where do we post it? How do we talk about it? Are we supposed to write on Reddit, post on X, launch on Product Hunt, submit to Hacker News, comment on Indie Hackers, make Instagram content, or do outbound? And, I'm not a marketer! I don't know how to do these things.
The frustrating part is that every channel has its own culture and rules. Reddit hates obvious self-promotion. X rewards a completely different style of writing. Hacker News has its own norms. Product Hunt is its own game. Indie Hackers is different again. We found ourselves spending a huge amount of time trying to learn how to reach the right people, how to write the right message, and how to tell whether a launch failed because the product was bad, the positioning was bad, or we simply put it in front of the wrong audience.
That was the pain that led us to Aptets. Aptets an AI agent for indie hackers. You give it your product, and it helps you figure out your audience, find relevant places to talk about it, draft channel-specific messaging, and start getting your first users without needing to become a full-time marketer / salesperson. Instead, you can focus on making the features that matter most to you and your customers!
We are building this for people like us: developers, indie hackers, solo builders, and small teams who love making things but hate the vague, confusing, trial-and-error process of distribution.
Excited to launch today and would love feedback from other builders here. (Good, and especially bad!) If you have ever built something and then thought, “Okay, how do I actually get people to use this?”, Aptets is for you.
